Simulated Distillation module for petrochemical applications
AlphaSoftSimDist is a stand-alone software module, usable with any gas chromatograph, that allows to simulate the fractionation process of petrochemicla products.
This simulated distillation method, based on the separation of fractions of different boiling points by gas chromatography, avoids long laboratory tests before scale-up.
AlphaSoftSimDist module complies with several standards:
- ASTM D2887 for light products with boiling point below 538°C,
- ASTM D3710 for light products with boiling point below 260°C,
- ASTM D6352 for medium to heavy products with boiling point below 700°C,
- ASTM D7169 for medium to heavy products with boiling point below 720°C.
